Bad Things
Well, said post will most likely not be coming in the next couple of days. My ferret is really, really sick, possibly dying. So, yeah. Not good.
Edit: The Internet may have provided a solution! His symptoms (weakness of the back legs, lethargy, even thinner than a ferret should be, not eating or drinking for days) might have been caused by too little sugar, so the suggested solution was honey on the gums. I put it on, and 10 minutes later he was drinking lots of water and may possibly have taken a bite of food. The "may possibly" is because I couldn't tell if he sniffed it or ate it. Still taking the little guy to the vet, though.
Edit: It's gotten worse. He's stopped being able to drink water that isn't put directly on his lips, and the food he can down practically IS water.

Hope the little fella pulls through.

I hope so too. The honey still seems to be working; he's not nearly as lethargic, and is actually moving around a lot... except he can't move very well, due to the fact that his back legs don't seem to have enough muscle mass to support him. >.<
Best of luck. I hope he pulls through.
My dad will be taking him to the vet in a couple hours; hopefully there will be good news.
Bad news; the most likely diagnosis is insulinoma (think that's what he said), essentially reverse-diabetes caused by cancer. We're seeing if we can do anything for him overnight; if not, he's gonna have to be put down...
More bad news: He's better than he was, but it looks like that might not be enough. The vet that specializes in ferrets wasn't there to look at him, so we'll see tomorrow what he says, but it's not looking good...
He did not end up surviving...
Sorry to hear that mate.
